Yesterday was only the beginning of the clean-up of the garage and patio area. Today Tomiko and I swept it up and then hosed everything down. Including the benches and tables. It took us a couple hours to get it done but it looked great when we were done!

Kai texted this morning, Gizmo went downhill rapidly last night. He took Gizmo in to an emergency vet this morning. Gizmo had cancer that had metastisized; Kai had to have him euthanized. RIP Gizmo.
David, Sarah, Evan, and Kaia arrived today a couple hours after lunch. They left Seattle at 5 in the morning, flew to San Fransisco, then to Kona; it was a very long day for them.

Towards the end of dinner I received a text letting me know that the Ikaika 'ohana arrived. They'll be staying at the Kohala Village Inn.
