Another storm system is forming in the Eastern Pacific region, Tropical Depression Five-E. Its name means it is the 5th storm of the season to form in the Eastern Pacific region. When you see it on the map for the Central Pacific, it doesn't look like much. But when you overlay the potential path you can see it approaching the Central Pacific at hurricane force. It is moving westward at about 15 mph & is expected to enter the Central Pacific by the weekend or early next week. Currently maximum sustained winds are at 35 mph, so just below tropical storm level. Stay tuned!
