Nail Cutting Day

Dad has been resistant to us cutting his fingernails; he let Curtis cut his toenails a couple weeks ago. This morning he let me cut his fingernails. It's been a couple months since he cut his nails or let us cut his nails. His left thumbnail was broken off so perhaps he did that the recently & decided that his nails needed to be cut.

There are only 8 not 9; I couldn't find one that flew in a funny direction when I cut it.

It rained off and on here today; right now there is flooding in Maui & a flood watch on the Big Island. David arrives tonight with his girlfriend Sarah. They are coming in from Kaua'i; they've been there a few days. Which is probably good; on the news it sounded like Kaua'i has been having better weather than us for the last few days. It is supposed to get better by Christmas.

It's also been colder than normal. And its supposed to stay colder than normal; tonight its supposed to go down to the low 60's. Teh Aix Weather app that I have on my phone says it is 66 F in Kapa'au and 0.35 inches of rain is predicted from now through tomorrow afternoon.
