Happy Anniversary to Me!

Two years ago today I permanently moved to Kapa'au. Since then I have been involved with renovating the house, playing with the cats & dog, checking out the wildlife, studying 'Õlelo Hawai'i, learning more about the Hawaiian culture, playing Wordle & sudoku, working in the garden, and more.

One of Moʻo's favorite activities is to run around the yard!
Huakaʻi to see the monument to the 1st Puerto Ricans in the state.
Wild turkeys foraging in Jessieʻs back yard!
(L to R) Kanani, Keone, & Uncle Al explain about holua.
ʻŌhuna (top), Hoʻokoa (L), & ʻAlani relaxing; not in photo Paʻipaʻi.
Vanilla orchid climbing up persimmon stump.
Looking at Maui from Lapakahi State Historical Park.
Wordle
Gold Dust Day Gecko enjoying the crumbs.
Part of my Duolingo summary for 2023.
Feeding the neighbor's cattle.

Hau'oli lā Hānau e Moni & David!
