Incommunicado in Milolii

This post is going to be very short since the wi-fi signal here is spotty; I will post more when I have a stronger signal. I'm spending the night with my friend Janice, at her friend Jacquie's place outside of Milolii. She lives on a property that backs up to the Kipahoehoe Natural Reserve Area. The cabin is off grid, power is via generator with a battery back-up. Water is collected in a cistern off of the rain hitting the rooftop. Cooking is via propane that is hauled in in 5-gallon tanks. Tomorrow I am taking Janice & Jacquie on a tour of the north end of the island.
