Another Solar Panel

On my way down the access road to Lapakahi State Historical Park this morning I noticed that was a new solar panel on the roof! Originally there was only 1 on the south side; today I saw another panel on the east facing roof surface.

It was really windy down at Lapakahi today. It was so windy today, it blew the hand sanitizer bottle off of the dispensing stand by the back door. When it did that it also broke the nozzle off; I was unable to find the piece.

As I was talking to a couple near the front door, we saw a battle fatigue green colored large transport plane fly by. It was flying rather low, seemingly on a course to Kona Airport. But it would make more sense if it were going to the Bradshaw Airfield at the Pōhakuloa Army Training Center. Kai says it appears to be a C-130 military cargo aircraft.

The weather when I woke up was a little dreary looking. But it quickly lightened up & became sunny for the rest of the day.
Twelve minutes before sunrise.

The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory has refined the start time for the next episode at Kīlauea. They have defined the window as between the 2nd & the 10th.

Hauʻoli lā Hānau e Michael!
