In a few short hours, Tropical Depression Fifteen-E has now become Tropical Storm Nolo, which is about 310 miles southerly of Ka Lae (South Point). Now with maximum sustained winds of about 40 mph, Nolo is moving west-northwesterly at about 6 mph. A hurricane watch has been issued since we are now only about 48 hours away from tropical storm force winds landing on the island.
