This morning The Potential Most Favorite Roommate and I went to City Mill; he had an ʻŌhiʻa Lehua plant (Metrosideros polymorpha) on hold & I needed a replacement toilet seat and massaging showerhead. I also picked up a verified kupukupu fern (Nephrolepis cordifolia); this is the one I thought I had in Kohala but it turned out to be the non-native invasive.

He got 2; one on left will have more shrubby growth habit than one on right.

I did not realize there were so many different types of toilet seats. I found one with a potty training part and one with a night light! I settled on the Brevia which has quick attach hardware so it can be easily removed for more thorough cleaning. When I got home I discovered I had the wrong size. Auē!

I guess this is so guy's have something to aim for in the middle of the night?

The winner!

This is what I had to match, there was no good fit.

But it's to long.

Here's a better comparison.

About 8:30 this morning Jessie called; she was concerned since Susan did not show up last night. Auē! I forgot to call & let her know Susan had some trouble getting her rental car so she would be delayed. Knowing that Susan was okay in Kona put her at ease. I called her back later in the afternoon after Susan was able to get her car and start heading to the house. All is now good in the neighborhood.
On the way back from City Mill, The Potential Most Favorite Roommate went through Waikīkī; he wanted to avoid all the traffic lights along the more standard route home from City Mill. I had not really driven around Waikīkī in a long time; I usually only go to the condo of The Most Excellent Cook and The Bronco Dude who live at the mauka edge of Waikīkī. I know its not true, but everything there seemed new to me. And it was pretty busy down on the beach. We also saw some ocean rescue action going on as we neared the Diamond Head end of Waikīkī. Whatever it was it did not make the news, I guess there were nearly a hundred rescues that they have already had to do over this holiday weekend.

All these responders were at the same incident.

I dropped off the veggies for Paris about noon. We had a nice little chat but decided we will try to get together later this week; she has a break from teaching school.
The Potential Most Favorite Roommate and The Roommate Who Likes to Wash Dishes switched our internet provider from Mom & Dadʻs name to theirs so that they could get a better deal. In the meanwhile, I set up my hotspot during the few hours when the old router was exchanged for the new router and the system was put back on line.

My trusty hotspot was 4 years old last Saturday.

For dinner I had salad and a couple of almond tortillas with cream cheese and guacamole. I only remembered to take a photo of the salad.
Sunday afternoon is always the end of the Duolingo challenge for the week. This week I ended up in #7 place. I don't get any special rewards for 7th place, but I don't get demoted down either.
The Aix weather app forecast a partly cloudy day for here in Honolulu. It seemed to be fairly correct.
With the addition of 1 new COVID-19 death reported today, we reached a dubious milestone; 500 total deaths.
