I thought this deserved its own post. I filled my ballot out this morning, then drove it to Kanewai Playground where one of the official ballot drop boxes was located at. (It's listed on the official website so I know it is real one.) I think they located this box at the playground since it is close to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa campus and almost right across the street from faculty housing. In fact, the building in the background of the photo is one of the campus parking structures; it is next to the Hawaiian Studies building. Plus the park has amenities that attract a lot of non-college users.
