Aloha 'Oe Dad!

Today at 1:37 pm Dad passed away at the Straub Clinic ER; he would have been 96 years old next Tuesday. This morning he was feeling fine but shortly after lunch he started complaining about not feeling so good. When his blood oxygen level dropped sharply a short while later, the charge nurse called an ambulance and he was taken to the ER. During the transport Dad went in to cardiac arrest but the paramedics were able to revive him. Shortly after arriving at Straub he went into cardiac arrest a 2nd time; but they were not able to revive him. Neither Curtis nor I were able to get to the ER before he had passed. We will be making arrangements for him to be interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific with Mom.
