No Walking Today

I spent the time finishing off the PowerPoint presentation about Dad for the event tomorrow honoring Dad at Maunalani; they are honoring all their veterans while they are still alive. Once again, I have broken the rule about how long your PowerPoint presentation should be; its got over 200 slides & at 10 seconds each it is about 35 minutes long. Here are some of the photos I used. We're also taking in one of the big fishing poles that he made along with one of the reels he used, a fiberglass bait box that he made, and a rod holder and bell that I think our cousin Lem made.

Lunch today was Oriental shoyu chicken, Steamed rice, Mixed vegetables, Tossed salad, Peanut butter bar, & Chicken gumbo soup. Dad at half of his half sandwich & half of the peanut butter bar, which they would count as 50%, plus all his liquid supplements. Angie said last night he ate his half an egg salad sandwich, too!

Walking today would have meant getting very wet. I think it rained most of the day; like real rain, not just a drizzle. But with the rash guard and the hair dryer at least my top would be dry; I had a pair of cotton shorts with a cotton lining that would have stayed pretty wet. I will need to plan ahead for my clothing for when the weather gets more reliably wet.

Happy Birthday to Mimi, Bill, & Yvonne!
